Jan worked for the VCGLR for 20 years as a Gaming Compliance Inspector and Gaming Operations Manager, garnering an extensive working knowledge of gaming industry legislation and the complex web of regulatory standards and guidelines that govern gaming operations. Jan’s invaluable expertise covers the minefield of technical compliance standards for gaming machines and gaming operational compliance in the Victorian jurisdiction. She has worked effectively with industry bodies and other regulators in the development of effective operational procedures and standards, and from 2011 to 2013 was a key strategist in the transition and migration to the venue operator model.
Jan is able to assist with preparation of submissions for changes to gaming machine areas; technical compliance audits of gaming machines; assistance with gaming machine dispute resolution; and completion of IGS Annexure requirements for gaming machine changes.
Compliance Programs help venue operators identify current non-compliance with the myriad of gaming related laws that affect their gaming business. Jan is an integral part of the highly qualified team at LBA, helping venue operators quickly correct non-compliance, in all areas of the venue and gaming room, thus avoiding action and prosecution by regulatory authorities.
